In 2019 we created the WRITE Botanical Poetry Trail at Homeyards Botanical Gardens in Shaldon. This involved collaboration with year 4 pupils at Shaldon Primary School. In 2020 with the national lockdown in force we were unable to carry out the two workshops we had planned in person: WRITE Decoy and WRITE Bakers. Instead of giving up we moved our workshops onto a digital format that can be enjoyed by pupils at our participating school pupils along with members of the wider community.

Moving forward in 2021, our ambition is to develop our poetry trails into focal points for the community that inspire creativity and engagement with Teignbridge's outstanding public green spaces.
